Cocktail Recipes

Martini

Ingredients:
• 2 1/2 oz Gin
• 1 1/2 tsp Dry Vermouth
• 1 twist of Lemon peel
• Mixing instructions:
• In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the gin and vermouth. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist or an olive.

Salty Dog

Ingredients:
• 5 oz Grapefruit juice
• 1 1/2 oz Gin
• 1/4 tsp Salt
Mixing instructions:
Pour all ingredients over ice cubes in a highball glass. Stir well and serve. (Vodka may be substituted for gin, if preferred.)

The Vault Ultra Lounge

Impressive in its old bank building, The Vault Ultra Lounge stands tall as San Jose's premier club party. We say tall because it has a staircase leading to an area with dancing high above the rest of the bar. Looking down reveals a packed bar, people lounging on comfortable chairs and couches in the two main rooms. Behind them is another bar area and two VIP rooms (3 bottle minimum @ $175 per). The crowd is primarily fine-dressed mid- to late-20s.
